01.Reduce the cost of living
I am dedicated to reducing the cost of living for our community by advocating for the elimination of grocery taxes, supporting vital initiatives like the Choose Act, and working to eliminate the taxes on essential items, such as diapers and baby formula, and other newborn supplies. We need to ensure that families can thrive without the burden of unnecessary expenses. Together, we can create a more affordable future for everyone.
02.Fund our education
I believe that every child in Alabama deserves access to quality education and the right to choose their school. Alabama passed the largest Education Trust Fund budget in our states history at 10.5 Billion. Despite this, teaches still suffer from earmarked budgets, high student to teacher ratios, and a lack of support for our special needs and neurodivergent students. We must support a parents right to choose what method of education is best for their child while supporting our teachers.
03.Protect our children
I am devoted to protecting our children by advocating for essential measures like school resource officers to ensure our schools are safe havens. With two young daughters of my own, I understand the urgency of defending women's sports and safeguarding our kids from online predators and harmful internet content. We deserve an environment where every child can thrive and grow without fear. Together, we can build a brighter future for our children.
04.Maintain and expand our infrastructure
Rocket City contributes roughly 15% of Alabama's total GDP. despite this, we are underfunded when it comes to our infrastructure. We are in critical need of funding for our roads, electrical grid, and bridges. Madison County is a good investment for ALL of Alabama.
