Meet Aaron Thomas

Aaron's Why

Together, Aaron and Amy have built a life grounded in faith, family, and hard work. Aaron is deeply grateful for the family and life they are creating in Rocket City. His gratitude extends to the opportunity he has to be a husband, father, business owner, neighbor, and friend.

Living as an expat for almost a decade, Aaron has gained a deep appreciation for what it means to be a citizen of the United States of America. America is a country that affords its citizens the freedoms, opportunities, and blessings of prosperity. He has also seen firsthand what happens when governments forget who they serve:  suffering.

This gratitude and appreciation have led him to seriously reflect on what type of world he is leaving for his daughters and future generations. This pondering has emblazoned the flame of duty in Aaron. A duty to serve, to protect, and to build a brighter tomorrow for all Alabamians.

Aaron's Career

At 16 years old, Aaron landed his first job at a local pizza restaurant — the same one he now owns with his family. Aaron, an Eagle Scout, was lucky to be mentored by a business owner who believed in running his business and life with principles. Upon his boss's retirement, Aaron was honored to carry that torch forward. Today, Aaron and his family operate four restaurant locations across North Alabama.

During the COVID-19 crisis, the principles on which Aaron founded his business were tested. Despite shutdowns and government regulations, Aaron stood by his team and didn’t lay off a single employee. That’s the kind of leadership he believes in: steady, service-minded, and unafraid to make tough calls. Aaron's small business has had the privilege of hiring and training minors, individuals with special needs, and others looking for a second chance. It’s been a blessing to build something that gives back.
